Dr. Julie Brownley is the medical director at Psychiatry for Women and assistant professor at Johns Hopkins Hospital where she teaches resident physicians. She specializes in the management of mental health issues associated with menstruation, pregnancy, the postpartum period, perimenopause, menopause, infertility, pregnancy loss and birth trauma. Dr. Brownley is an expert in the evaluation and treatment of women throughout the adult life cycle with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, insomnia and grief. She is Bump + Thrive's medical editor and co-host of the “By the Bump” podcast.

Kat is a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in orthopedic conditions and women's health. She is the founder of ABODE Birth Healing & Wellness and the Director of Growth & Development for PhysioElements Physical Therapy. She is also a certified Pilates teacher, Strong First Kettlebell 1 Instructor, a certified Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, and birth doula. In addition to clinical practice, she holds 10+ years of experience teaching private and group fitness classes in Boston + NY. She also holds extensive training in pelvic floor therapy, Arvigo Techniques of Mayan Abdominal Massage, visceral manipulation, embodiment coaching, mindfulness & intuitive development.

Michelle


 

Michelle is the founder of Intuitive Wellness in Darien, Conn. and a Connecticut licensed acupuncturist. She has a Masters of Science degree in Acupuncture from University of Bridgeport and a decade of experience in healthcare. She embraces an integrative approach to Traditional Chinese Medicine and how it can tie in beautifully with Western medicine. In addition to acupuncture, Michelle is also certified in Arvigo Mayan Abdominal Massage, is a reiki practitioner and utilizes guided meditation in her treatments. Michelle has additional training and mentorship in women’s health and fertility, as well as cosmetic acupuncture.

Victoria


 

Victoria is the founder and operator of WellspringMind, a New York-based meditation company that aims to bring genuine wellbeing to every workplace in America. Specializing in mental balance for high performing business minds, WellspringMind merges scientific research and meditative tradition with experiential guidance and real talk, and has recently expanded to include private and small group meditation and yoga. Raised on a farm in the Midwest, far removed from eastern ideology, Victoria began gymnastics at the age of 3 and dedicated a decade of her adolescence to the sport. She was first introduced to eastern practices through yoga (asana) in 2010 and quickly recognized the immense healing potential of the study. She began meditating and studying Buddhist philosophy shortly thereafter and has been teaching a combination of the practices since 2015.

Haley is a Registered Dietitian who has been working with women before, during and after pregnancy for over eight years. She is on a mission to help women have healthy, feel good pregnancy journeys. She has helped hundreds of women break free from the outdated, overwhelming and conflicting nutrition information to have confident, feel good pregnancies. She will help you minimize your pregnancy symptoms, gain energy and feel confident that you are getting in the nutrients needed to support the growth and development of your baby. When it comes to eating for two your nutrition needs to be made a priority and Haley is here to make that easy for you. She has done the research so you don't have to spend hours on Google debating every bite you take. Pregnancy is a chapter of our life we deserve to enjoy and Haley is here to help you do just that.
